Helping your baby sleep better is like introducing any new skill. It takes time, consistency, and flexibility In this class, Rachel outlines the key developmental changes you can expect and how to work with these changes for better sleep
This class will help you understand the three separate sleep profiles: the sensitive sleeper, the attached sleeper, and the adaptable sleeper. By helping parents understand their baby’s unique traits and dominant sleeper category, they are finally able to understand why certain methods are not resonating or seemed incredibly hard to implement.
If you are looking for a sleep coach that promises your baby will be sleeping 12 hours a night by 12 weeks or take perfect naps by four months, Rachel is not the sleep coach for you. While we can promise you that you WILL see progress and improvement in your baby’s sleep, no one can promise you that it will be perfect - because your baby is not a robot. Your baby is a beautiful, living, breathing, very-much-alive blessing from above, and because of this, we need to place realistic expectations on ourselves and our babies.
Instructor Rachel Mitchell is a Pediatric & Maternity Sleep Consultant and former night nanny. But first and foremost, she is a mother of seven. Rachel's approach comes from the heart and is dedicated to helping you know your baby, and respond with love, compassion, and grace without a side of guilt.
Your baby is struggling to get adequate naps and night sleep
Your baby is unable to sleep in their own environment
You are currently co-sleeping and needing help transitioning
You are feeling lost and in need of support to help your baby sleep well without having to follow a cry it out approach

"Our 5 month old son was NOT sleeping well. Night sleep was sporadic and naps were usually only 20-40 minutes long. After just one week we were able to move our son into his crib. With just a few tweaks to his routine and schedule, he now naps at least 3-4 hours a day. He still has 1 or 2 night feedings, but I know when I put him down for the night that I’ve got at least 6-8 hours before he’ll wake again to eat. Not only is he more rested and much happier, but I am too!"
